The Loire Valley:  6 days, 7 nights 1870€ all inclusive

10 -17 May 2025

The Loire valley, famous for its Renaissance châteaux is one of the top French tourist destinations. We will visit Blois, Angers, Chenonceau and Chambord and have unique views from our shells of the châteaux in Montsoreau and Saumur and the numerous country mansions built on the banks of the Erdre by rich Nantes families in the 18th century.

The region is also known for the quality of its wines. Lucky you! We will spend 3 nights among the vineyards and taste the full range of the local production: red, rosé, dry white, sweet white and sparkling wines.

You will row on the Loire and its tributaries: the Vienne, Maine, Erdre and Cher. Rowing under the arches of the château at Chenonceau is every rower's dream.

History is everywhere. Meet many French kings and their mistresses as well as the king of England, Richard the Lionheart whose recumbent figure awaits you at Fontevraud Abbey.
